There is no denying it. July was really hot, and Greenland is melting. Maybe the heat and humidity have made you feel a sense of helplessness over the changing climate patterns. Cheer up. You can do something and see the impact of your actions. Thursday, August 22 at 5:30 p.m. at the Springfield Town Library you will have an opportunity to learn how little things make a difference, and how you can be apart of that. The Springfield Energy Committee will present “The Peoples’ EcoChallenge”, a project of the North West Earth Institute. The Institute is an online platform designed to engage participants in little acts that add up to a big impact, to inspire behavior change and create a thriving culture. Please come join us as we build community and act locally with a global perspective. Participants will have access to devices so that we can explore the possibilities together. “The People’s EcoChallenge”, Thursday, August 22, 5:30 p.m. at the Springfield Library, 43 Main Street, Springfield, VT.
