CASTLETON — Professor William Edelglass, of Marlboro College, will be returning to the Castleton Free Library on May 16 to present his lecture titled, “A History of the Concept of Race,” beginning at 7 p.m.

The presentation will dive back in time to explain the origins of different races around the world today, how they came to settle where they did, and how they've evolved into the societies that populate the earth today.

The presentation begins at 7 p.m., and is free and open thanks in part to a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, and interested parties may contact Mary Kearns at 802-468-5574 for more information.
