CASTLETON — A man went missing on Monday and has yet to be found, Fair Haven Police Chief Bill Humphries confirmed Tuesday.

Stephen Cowart, 47, was left at the D&H Rail Trail in Castleton at around 7:45 a.m. “for a walk,” according to a Facebook post from Vermont Missing Persons.

Cowart was last seen wearing a blue and white hooded sweatshirt, light-colored shorts and white sneakers with no laces, the post said.

Information regarding Cowart's whereabouts should be submitted to the Castleton Police Department at 802-468-2750, the post said.
