PITTSFORD — Vermont State Police said a motorcyclist was killed after going off Route 3 Wednesday.

Police said Christopher Guyette, 49, of North Clarendon, was driving his 2006 Honda Shadow north at around 6:45 p.m. when he went off the road near Corn Hill Road, hitting a stump.

Guyette was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The crash is still under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call police at 773-9101.
