CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Gas prices continue to drop across northern New England and the nation.

The latest GasBuddy price reports show Maine gas prices fell 5.6 cents per gallon in the last week, bringing the average to $2.63. That matches the national average, which is the lowest level so far this summer.

The average price in New Hampshire is $2.58 per gallon after prices dropped about 2 cents last week. In Vermont, which saw an even smaller decrease, the average price per gallon is $2.69.
