BRATTLEBORO — The Vermont Nuclear Decommissioning Citizens Advisory Panel will meet Thursday night with federal energy officials, Texas radioactive waste disposal officials and representatives of Vermont's congressional delegation. The meeting, which will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. in the multipurpose room at Brattleboro Area Middle School, will cover  updates on the decommissioning of Vermont Yankee, nuclear issues at the federal level, low-level radioactive waste disposal, and storing spent fuel. The public can attend and comments and questions can be submitted to the panel by emailing PSD.NDCAP@vermont.gov. Remote access will also be available and requests can be sent to anthony.leshinskie@vermont.gov or through PSD.NDCAP@vermont.gov no later than 5 p.m. on June 27.
