Linda Quinn WHITING — Linda Quinn, 65, of Whiting, died peacefully on Dec. 19, 2018, with her beloved dog, Lola, by her side. She was born on April 26, 1953, in Rutland, VT, daughter of Robert and Marlene Quinn. Linda graduated in 1971 from MSJ. When Linda was 16, she worked at the A&W in Rutland. Linda then married and had two children, Denyce and Christopher. After the kids had grown, she moved to Whiting and began her career as a bus driver for the Northeast Supervisory Union for 28 years. Linda loved her job and the people she worked with, especially the kids on her bus, her boss and very good friend, Becky Congdon. She also was devoted to her dogs and any furry creature that needed her. Linda loved camping, fishing, cooking, gardening and the Red Sox. Survivors include long-term companion, Karen Marshall; daughter Denyce Maxham and husband CJ Maxham; son Christopher Manfredi; mother Marlene Quinn; sister Paula Fells; brothers Robert and Kevin Quinn; and grandson Michael Seagren. Linda was predeceased by her father, Robert Quinn. A celebration of Linda's life will be held at a later date.
