Phillip B. Lussier HAMPTON, NY — Phillip B. Lussier, 85, of Hampton, New York, was called to rest on Monday, May 6, 2019. He was born on November 3, 1933, son to Raul and Irene (Massey) Lussier. He was married to Barbara (Gates) Lussier on December 26, 1954. Phillip attended and graduated from Fair Haven High School. He is an Air Force veteran and was stationed in Louisiana. Phillip was the President of Ethan Allen Snow Travelers (EAST) Snowmobile Club of Benson, Vermont. He was a volunteer at the Fair Haven Fire Department for many years, involved in the Fair Haven Bowling Team, and a Little League coach. Phillip was also a part of the Benson Grange and a successful business owner of P & C Refrigeration with his brother-in-law, Charlie Gates. Phillip enjoyed salmon fishing on Lake Ontario, boating and camping. One of his most enjoyed past times was participating in his grandson’s motorsport races. Phillip was a loving, kind, witty, strong, soft-spoken, intelligent and amazing man. He is loved, and will be missed by many. Phillip is survived by his wife, Barbara Lussier; brother Morris Lussier; his children, Wayne Lussier, Kim Lussier and Patti (Lussier) Horvath; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother and father, Raul and Irene Lussier, sister Estelle (Lussier) Sanderson, and his brothers Ronnie and Norman Lussier. At his request, direct cremation services were arranged with Ducharme Funeral Home of Castleton, Vermont. Friends and family are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life in July 2019. I have so many fond memories of Phil, including he would always let me use his snowmobile in the vast races.... I remember falling off his sled just b4 the finish line...however the snowmobile did finish 1st (never 4get that memory) THANKS 2 Phil...... The good,no GREAT ole days! Yes sir.......U were a very king & gentle man R I P
