Phyllis M. Dimick DANBY — Phyllis Dimick, 74, formerly of Rutland and Proctorsville, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018, at the Mountain View Center. She was born in Rutland June 17, 1944, daughter of Lancier "Jack" and Marion "Mamie" Brunelle. She was a member of the Clarendon Fire Dept. Auxiliary. Mrs. Dimick enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, canning, baking and doing various crafts. Survivors include three sons Fred Field, Ed Field (Shyla), of Manhattan, Kansas, Gordon Dimick Jr. (Dawn), of Clarendon; a step-granddaughter, Brandy Knight (Bob), of Rutland Town; her significant other, Dennis Lee, of Danby. She is survived by a sister, Jackie Blanchard (Floyd), of Burlington, Kentucky, and brother, Edwin "Chuck" (Loretta), of Clarendon; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Dimick Sr., in 2003; and a brother, Douglas Brunelle, in 2008. Calling hours are 4-6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at Rutland-Aldous Funeral Home, 44 North Main St., Rutland. Burial will be at a later date.
