The Vermont Legislature is limping to the finish line and with numerous bills still up in the air, they may never finish their work this session.

This sad commentary on Vermont politics is taking place in none other then Montpe-culiar. Our politicians are unable to push through the Senate/House bills that make sense and are needed here in Vermont. Between the Republicans in the House and the Republican governor, the politicians are lost in the Twilight Zone of Vermont politics.

Caught between this steel vice, these hapless souls limp to the finish line of the session with numerous bills headed for the lost limbo of laws in the city that is our capital: Pot legal sales, family leave, minimum wage hikes, gun safety and others are this year's victims. Gathering dust and mold will be their fate.
