Vermont's own Republican governor is playing little head games with legislators. He won't commit to any of the priority bills legislators have crafted and will pass on to him for his signature: legal pot sales markets, minimum wage increase to $15 an hour, paid family leave, gun sales waiting period and others, are going nowhere fast.

These head games are part of a bigger picture of the Republicans. They tend to make opposition to Democrats their idea of a priority. This is even a bigger head game. When these legislators wake up and realize they are working for the people of Vermont and not anything else, including their vanity, then they may actually get our needed bills passed and signed into law.
